Review Display Systems Limited is committed to the protection of the environment and in minimising the impact of its activities, products, and services, both locally and globally.
A key way to achieve this is by operating an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015.
Top management is committed to:
- Continual improvement of the EMS by ensuring risks and opportunities that can affect the environment are addressed
- Minimise waste by evaluating operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, and actively promoting recycling internally and, where possible, amongst suppliers and customers
- Prevent general pollution and the effects of electrical and electronic waste relevant to the company’s size and scale
- Meet or exceed all environmental legislation that relates to the Company and achieve best practice where possible
Top management shall:
- Take accountability for the effectiveness of the EMS
- Ensure the environmental policy and objectives are established, compatible with the company’s context and strategic direction
- Ensure objectives are set, controlled, and measured
- Ensure all relevant legislation and regulations are fully met
- Promote the use of a process approach and risk-based thinking
- Engage, direct, and support staff to contribute to the effectiveness of the EMS
- Provide necessary resources, training, support, and encouragement
- Provide sufficient information, instruction, training, and supervision for employees
- Recognise the importance of communication and staff involvement
This policy will be communicated to all employees and organisations working for or on behalf of RDS Ltd and other interested parties. Employees and other organisations are expected to co-operate and assist in its implementation.
This policy will be reviewed annually by top management and amended/re-issued where necessary.
