Light Touch

Light Touch™ is an compact interactive projector that instantly transforms any flat surface into a touch screen Input device. It projects a full-colour image approximatley 10 inches in diagonal screen size down onto any flat surface and turns it into a touch-sensitive user interface using integrated IR sensor overlay.

Light Blue Optic's patented technology called Holographic Laser Projection or HLP™ offers designers and engineers a flexible development platform and a unique opportunity to create real product differentiation.This unique technology uses diffraction patterns displayed on a micro display to steer the red, green and blue laser content to where it is required on screen.

The compact industrial designed enclosure allows the unit to be cloaked within a system, where it can display its image onto a clean surface area. This could be in a medical application,to reduce cross contamination or any other application that requires a operator input in a hostile sitaution.

The Light Touch model LT1020I is a highly integrated display, application and user interface solution that has been optimised for ‘industrial’ use. This standalone device acts as a flexible application platform, allowing bespoke applications to be created using Adobe Flash Lite 3.1 or Microsoft .NET 3.5 Compact Framework. An integrated WiFi chipset allows client applications to connect to a backend system, making it ideal for a broad range of retail, hospitality, and point of sale (POS) applications.
