With more than 10 years experience in developing touch technologies, AMT is proud to announce its newest product family - Projected Capacitive Input (PCI) touch. Unlike most suppliers who deliver only a partial solution, AMT PCI provides the integration of in-house sensors with controller firmware. This allows AMT to deliver an optimized solution with the fastest possible touch response.

AMT Projected Capacitive Input (PCI) provides an unsurpassed experience in forceless touch, precision touch and gesture recognition. PCI keeps up tracking with fast finger movement. The touch surface is durable and drift-free in long term use as AMT PCI touch sensors are overlaid with a surface glass. Hence they are highly impact resistant on public access systems while they can also be made light-weight for personal hand-held devices.

Supported by PenMount PCI controller firmware and drivers, AMT PCI touch sensors are provided with a turn-key solution. To help customers expedite their system development to meet market demands, AMT has developed a variety of touch controllers for PCI touch sensors of different sizes. AMT also provides the support to help customers design-in.

AMT PCI interfaces with most Operating Systems with accurate touch positions and configurable one- and two-finger gesture recognition for the easy customization in application level. Customers can take advantage of AMT PCI Solution 's built-in gesture library for immediate prototyping and project development.

Due to its highly durable and smooth surface, AMT PCI is suitable for medical and industrial touch display applications, and an ideal touch solution for the embedded applications such as industrial data loggers, car GPS or Personal Navigation Devices, Game Consoles and personal entertainment devices.

Flexibility in design and the comprehensive O.S. driver support make AMT PCI a viable touch solution for most customer projects.
