on clarity, durability, speed or accuracy but offers an impressive
and extremely rugged touch screen technology for use across a broad
range of applications.
"ClearTek"
This is a technology leader for 3M
and offers exceptional durability and reliability to the end user. It uses
a protective coating that minimizes reflection but that maximises transmission.
Scratch resistance and the fact that it is not subject to most chemicals, grease,
dirt and water and contamination from any of the above does not affect operation
makes this a very robust technology.
"ToughTouch"
Another leading light within the
3M product offering. Used extensively in ATM’s and vending machines it’s
durability is an ideal option. Impressive impact resistance is achieved by
laminating a layer of tempered glass to a “ClearTek” sensor.
"PrivacyTouch"
3M’s impressive background
in “film” manufacturing has been utilised to achieve a sensor ideal
for application where user privacy is paramount. A 3M light control film is
integrated achieving a controlled viewing cone. Only persons directly in front
of the sensor can see what is being displayed. On-lookers have their sight
blocked.
